Why maintenance is just as important as installation
An Innova Box garage is designed to last—the materials are chosen for their robustness and resistance to the specific conditions of a garage. But like all high-end equipment, it benefits from regular maintenance to preserve its appearance and performance. Proper maintenance is also a protected investment: a garage that shines ten years from now has exactly the same value as one that shines upon delivery.

Epoxy resin flooring : cleaning without damaging it
The epoxy resin floor is the point of daily contact with your vehicles, shoes, and the elements. For routine cleaning, a microfiber mop dampened with clean water is sufficient to remove fine dust. For oil or fuel stains, a diluted neutral cleaner (pH 7) applied with a soft sponge will remove them without damaging the resin. Absolutely avoid: acidic products, harsh solvents (acetone, white spirit), wire brushes, and pressure washers. Once a year, a polish specifically formulated for polyurethane resins will restore the shine and enhance surface protection.

Furniture made of aluminum or lacquered steel: the right reflexes
Columns, cabinets, and worktops made of anodized aluminum or lacquered steel require minimal but regular maintenance. Use a slightly damp microfiber cloth for dusting and a solvent-free, multi-purpose cleaner for fingerprints. Drawer rails and slides should be lightly lubricated with silicone spray twice a year. Adjust door hinges and pivots with an Allen key if a slight misalignment occurs. Avoid abrasive products, as they will irreparably scratch the anodized aluminum and create micro-scratches visible in raking light.

LED lighting: minimal maintenance, maximum vigilance
Innova Box LED fixtures have a lifespan of 50,000 to 80,000 hours—equivalent to several decades of normal use. Maintenance is limited to regularly dusting the fixtures with a dry, antistatic cloth. Check the connections of adjustable spotlights annually and tighten them if necessary. If an LED starts to flicker or change color (yellowing), it's a sign that it's nearing the end of its lifespan—replace it before it disrupts the color consistency of your space. For home automation systems, keep the firmware updated to ensure the stability of pre-programmed scenes.
Annual inspection: points to check
Floor: check for the absence of blisters, micro-cracks or areas of delamination around the perimeter
Perimeter joints: check the condition of the silicone joints between the floor and walls
Furniture: check the wall fixings of the columns (plugs, screws)
Doors and sliding doors: adjust if necessary, lubricate the tracks
Lighting: test all areas, replace faulty modules
Ventilation: clean the HRV filters if installed
The best approach: photograph your garage every 6 months from the same angle and with the same lighting. This is the best way to detect subtle changes before they become a problem.
